First Swedish on Makalu

Fredrik strang from Sweden who did 7 SUMMITS in shortest period and his friend Niklas Hallstrom (swd) successfully summit Makalu on 2nd May 2009 and Chhiring Dorje Sherpa, Pasang Lama and Furtemba Sherpa also with them. They all were without using supplementary oxygen. Chhiring and Pasang both summit K2 in 2008 and chhiring summit K2 without oxygen too.

 Before this, no body from sweden had summit Makalu. Fredrik and Niklas both stepped on the top together saying we are the first swedish on Makalu. The expedition was organised by Rolwaling Excursion (P) LTd.  

After success of Makalu expedition, the team (Fredrik, Niklas, chhiring and Pasang) aheaded to Another expedition to Lhotse. In lhotse the weather and time support them, they successful summit Lhotse too on 22nd may 2009, 20 days after summiting Makalu. They are the first persons to summit two 8000m peaks in shortest time in big number of people, two nepali and two Swedish.
